SHARPEN YOUR VISION
In this visual story, I pair words with my photography to explore and expand my creativity.
It’s a way for me to understand myself more deeply and through that process,
invite you to see something of yourself too.
Shadows NR2 OF 4
My shadows are friendly
It is were hiding and comforting find each other
Makes light shine brighter
Less contrasts, more grey
One hundred types of grey
Black and white can be harsh, shadow grey is softness
She makes the lines disappear
Boundaries become fluid
Dissolves when wanted and found when needed
My antraciete self is inner-work in progress
Holding space for multiple types of love
Protection in the big moist mist
No sight, introspection is on and outer awareness is off
Tranquility, serenity, repose, stillness
It all scares me, they are shadows in the making
Where I have to hide and pretend, just for survival
A space I know so well and were it feels save
The Shadow part is the place where my heart is cracked open
When it broke, it stayed open and now leaks drops of love
Having conversations with you, me and the Devine
Light shines on that part, just to warm it sometimes
Shadows can be chilly you know
But they dance with light and darkness
And they are mine
