A CREATIVE MIND
BASED IN THE NETHERLANDS

Visual storytelling has been a constant thread throughout my life. At the age of ten, I was already staging scenes in my bedroom and photographing my friends. Instinctively drawn to image-making long before I understood its significance in my life.

Alongside this passion for visuals, dance has always been my other great love. It led me to the Academy of Performing Arts in Amsterdam and to a career performing on stages across the world. Yet, the pull toward imagery never faded. Intimidated by the technical side of photography at the time, I chose to explore beauty and aesthetics through a career in hair and makeup, working in fashion and editorial settings.

But the creative urge has a way of finding its path. In 2019, I enrolled at the Fotoacademie in Amsterdam, picked up a camera and never put it down again.

My work is rooted in capturing women in their power, their sensuality, playfulness and their authentic selves. I gravitate toward narrative, location-based photography that tells more than just a visual story. It speaks of emotion, identity, and presence. In every portrait I make, there is a reflection of myself: who I was, who I long to be, how I imagine others see me, or how I wish to be seen. Every woman I photograph is, in a way, a part of me.

The connection I build with my subjects is a profound gift, one that informs and deepens the work itself. I carry into my photography all the experience, awareness, and emotion I gained from years on stage and behind the scenes. Everything I’ve lived, learned, and loved comes together behind the lens. When I photograph, I feel aligned with my craft, with my story, and most of all, with who I truly am.

And so I aspire to flow at every shoot, stop thinking and just feel. To connect and live by the heart, so the creative process (and my life) is an original one for that moment in time.

Love,
